Safe, decent, and affordable housing – Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County does not stray from the organization’s larger mission. Groups can partake in annual community building events – like November’s Veterans Build or April’s Rock the Block – or raise their hammers during corporate team builds that focus on new-home construction or neighborhood revitalization. No construction experience necessary – just the willingness to help new and local homeowners.
Give Back to the Residents at Busch Wildlife Sanctuary
This non-profit education facility is billed as both a retreat for wildlife and the local community, offering residents and visitors a unique opportunity to learn about nature through interactive programs. In addition to volunteer opportunities at the animal care sanctuary and wildlife rehabilitation hospital, groups can also help with community outreach programs, like Toddler Storytime or family night walks.

Hoof It 146 Feet Above Sea Level
Standing tall at the southern end of the Indian River, the 1860 lipstick-red lighthouse at the Jupiter Inlet is one commanding local landmark to behold. It’s also one your group can climb collectively – all 105 strenuous steps of it. Something of a local badge of honor, climbs are offered via guided programs, including tours held at sunset, sunrise, and – perhaps most unique – during a full moon rising. It makes for a unique vantage point above the Atlantic that not everyone has the gumption to glimpse.

Party Hearty on a PonTiki Boat Cruise
While there’s nothing like pulling up a seat beneath the thatched roof of a tiki bar, the experience reaches a whole new level with PonTiki Boat Cruises out of Jupiter. And when you book a private charter, not only do you get the pontoon boat – decked in a high-top tiki bar serving wine, beer, hard seltzer, and bottled water; shaded couches; full-service bathroom; and grassy turf floors – entirely to your group (up to 65 people), you get to take in the Jupiter Inlet from this one-of-a-kind watercraft.

Widely recognized for its crucial role in protecting and rehabilitating sea turtles in the southeastern United States, Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a non-profit organization with a Juno Beach-based facility featuring an on-site sea turtle hospital that your group can tour. End up meeting a particular patient that really tugged at your heartstrings during your visit? Your team can even adopt your choice of a turtle to help offset the cost of continued care and treatment.

Play a Part in Protecting Blowing Rocks Preserve
Located a mere four miles from Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa, this sanctuary may be best known for its unique craggy limestone shore. But that’s not all you’ll find at Blowing Rocks Preserve: It’s also the site of swaths of tropical hardwood hammock, dunes, and mangroves that support scores of animal species. Help protect all 73 acres of this unique coastal habitat by having your team volunteer for activities like shoreline cleanup and working in the native plant nursery (caring for plants that will eventually be transplanted into the preserve’s landscape).

Grab a Bucket & Clean Up Our Beach
Jupiter Beach is actually considered the largest stretch of secluded beachfront in Palm Beach County. So, gather your group and help keep the 1,000 feet of natural shoreline – which Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa is lucky enough to be the only hotel to call home – as pristine as possible. Five clean-up stations set along the beach offer buckets for filling with any debris or litter encountered during your sandy strolls.
Practice Your Sun(set) Salutations During Twilight Yoga
Locals describe it as a magical must-do if you’re ever in Jupiter. Set on the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse deck, beneath a behemoth of a banyan tree adorned in twinkle lights, the long-running weekly Monday yoga class is the most unique way to soak up sunset – and get in some much-needed stretching exercises at the same time. Since the class has a bit of a cult following, groups should book ahead of time by contacting Green Tara Yoga, the local studio that runs the weekly yoga sunset sessions.
Get Grounded Together at Breathe Salt & Yoga
Considered a gem of a yoga studio in Jupiter, this bright space is home to a host of special programs, including heated vinyasa, heated power, and non-heated yin, slow flow, and gentle flow. However, for groups, the most fun programs tend to be the goat yoga offered at a nearby Jupiter farm, retreats, and sound bath experiences.
